Birthday BBQ lunch/Family Day
Celebrating Family.
Victoria House hosts a celebration lunch monthly for those celebrating their birthday that month and families of our clients are welcome to attend from 12.00 noon to 1.00 p.m.
Annual camp
The clients, each year, plan and organise a special camp with the support of staff. Part of the plan is to set a budget, then start fundraising through some of the following ways:
- Baking in our newly certified kitchen and selling the baking through raffles, client purchasing and market days
- Make lots of arts and craft items to sell to the public personally
- Attend the local market days
These then grow into valuable skills such as team building, business skills, budgeting, and at the outset clients go away to the destination of their choice.
